Lightware

Lightware Visual Engineering is a leading manufacturer of DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort matrix switchers, signal extenders and accessories for the professional AV market. Our goal is to recognize industry needs and develop performance-rich products of the highest quality by continuously consulting with integrators, rental technicians and design engineers.

High Fidelity Signal Management.
All Lightware products utilize pixel-by-pixel signal transmission between endpoints. The lack of latency and compression ensures that the signal keep its original quality. This is achieved by employing such proprietary Lightware technologies as Pixel Accurate Reclocking and Single Fiber Technology.

Research and Development.
Lightware technology incorporates numerous professional features developed by our R+D centre in Budapest. These features are Lightware’s own intellectual property and some have now become industry standards. Lightware products are solely designed, developed and manufactured in Hungary in the European Union.

Training and Education.
Lightware Visual Engineering organizes educational seminars designed to provide an insight into the specifics, pitfalls and best practices when integrating the major digital video formats. At these events Lightware trainers and present a deep insight of the digital standards and their application.

Lightware is announcing the arrival of HDMI-3D-OPT-DD series extenders that offer data diode technology, which means that an optical fiber with a sender on one side and a receiver on the other ensures that data can only be transferred in a forward direction, and never in reverse.

This means is no two-way transfer, preventing leakage and manipulation from taking place.

HDMI-3D-OPT-TX210DD and HDMI-3D-OPT-RX110DD extend HDMI 1.4, DVI 1.0 over one multimode fiber and transmit video signal with embedded audio to a distance of up to 2500 meters.

Two New MMX Matrix Switcher Models are Available

Lightware is announcing the arrival of two new devices in its MMX product family lineup, which are MMX8x8-HT440 and MMX8x8-HT080 specifically designed for conference room environment.

The products receive and transmit digital video, audio and control to distances of up to 170 m over a single CAT6 cable. With the advanced EDID Management on board of MMX8x8-HT440 and MMX8x8-HT080, the required resolution from any video source and the output conformity to the system requirements are available. The units can be controlled via RS-232, Ethernet or USB ports, and they also offer Ethernet, RS-232, Serial and IR command injection capabilities, allowing to send any control command directly from the LAN connection to remote endpoints.

MMX8x8-HT440 is a standalone matrix switcher specifically designed for conference room environments. It has four HDMI and four TPS2 (HDBaseTTM) inputs with four HDMI outputs and four TPS2 outputs. 4K/UHD (30Hz RGB 4:4:4, 60Hz YCbCr 4:2:0), 3D capabilities and HDCP are fully supported.

The device also has eight balanced 5-pole Phoenix audio connectors at four of the TPS2 and HDMI inputs, four of the TPS2 and HDMI outputs.
